It appears that we all need to improve our bedside manner. Reading the reviews, it is evident that this is a recurring issue at CHI. Recently, my mother experienced a similar situation. It is puzzling why individuals become irate simply by providing answers to questions.
I am very frustrated and confused. I had a sleep test done. My results were posted to my health Portal. Under impressions it clearly states obstructive sleep apnea. Signed off by a MD. Then I get a Portal message from my PCP saying my test was negative. Well clearly I was confused. I had to read the summary notes on the Portal where a different dr said I didn't have sleep apnea. Appointment was 45 minutes after time scheduled apparently they rescheduled and didn’t tell me. Then the provider reiterated 3 times that she or someone could see me at a closer location which I didn’t want at all! Rushed through the appointment, at which time I felt she was not approachable for questions or discussions about my concerns so left appointment w/o being heard!!! Frustrated and pushed aside!
