Take a tire tread depth gauge with you if you’re buying a used car. Selling cars with tires that pass “their state inspection” but won’t pass anywhere else. And do your own CarFax check on the vehicle. It wasn’t until after I noticed body work that looked like the votech fixed it that we were told it was wrecked. 20+ years I’ve bought from them, that’s come to an end
