On July 9 2025 our mother was discharged from WCH and admitted to Chesterwood to begin her rehab and recovery. Her first evening at Chesterwood, she needed to use the restroom and pressed her call button. She was patient and waited for 30 minutes. I was there with her and after 30 minutes, I pressed it again. Waited another few minutes and still no one showed up. Went out to the desk to check with staff and found an aide at the desk. The staff at Chesterwood guided me through my recovery. The nurses and nursing assistants were friendly and helpful. The physical therapists and occupational therapists were encouraging with great attitudes. The rooms were clean and spacious and the facility had areas to gather for coffee while watching television or to just sit and relax. I couldn't think if a better place.
