I have been going to Chesterfield Family Practice for over 10 years. Over the years I’ve had a couple of bad experiences there which I let go. Recently I diagnosed with the flu not by them but by Patient First. Since getting over the flu , I still had a cough The cough started on February 25th, which I explained to the receptionist on March 14th. I was concerned and wanted to talk to a nurse. I really used to love this practice, since Bon Secours has taken over the staff is rude, no compassion what so ever and it is now all about money, not patient care! I will NOT be back!!
After 35 years of going to Chesterfield Family Practice our relationship has ended. My pregnant 30 year old daughter was rejected from getting a sick appointment! “We don’t do sick appointments anymore. You need to go to a doc n box.” So she goes to Med Express and they won’t see her because she is pregnant. Goodbye and Good riddance.
Hire new people to make your appointments, the current ones are rude and disrespectful. The clown with a foreign accent, should not be allowed to make decisions on what is important enough for a doctor to see you immediately or not. Leaving this practice after five years, rudeness will not be tolerated.
Friendly through staff
The women that work in the front office are rude or just flat out ignore you when you enter the door. The doctor’s leave without any heads up, even when you’ve been seeing them for a chronic condition for MONTHS! This place seems unprofessional and healthcare is TOO EXPENSIVE for people to treat you poorly when it’s their job to take care of you. I’ve been at this doctor’s office since 2005 and today they lost me as a client. My kids too.
I was an Extern from Virginia College , and the nurses helped me alot with any and everything that I needed to learn as a mediacal assistant. Thanks to Ruth, Claudia, Monica and Myesha, for all that they have done for me. �
I have been using this practice since I was 18 and I’m now in my 30s. I used to have wonderful experiences here but in the last five years I have had issues getting an appointment. I called in once experiencing some very severe symptoms and was rudely told they had no appointments that day or the next. Today I call at 8:30 and I’m told again no appointments today.
