Chester Family YMCA is great for families or individuals, alike. With so many activites to pick from...indoor actitivites, outdoor activites, areas to hike, a pool, sauna & so much more. My little one enjoys the childcare area. They have a safe & fun environment for the little ones to play, watch a movies &/or interact with other kids while mom/dad or the other adults workout. Very pleased with this YMCA. Staff are always friendly and helpful and the facility is always clean.
The policy governing after-school care does not allow for missed days (with notice), vacation time, or holidays, which is absurd. We will be out of town for a full week during the holidays but don’t have the option to provide notice of absence to the after school program, and will have to pay for a week of after school care that we won’t be using.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. Good family atmosphere.
