We walked away from our deposit after losing confidence in Chesmar. Persistent issues from May 2025 onward led us to forfeit our deposit and look elsewhere. Worst warranty service! Almost everyone in our neighborhood with Chesmar homes is facing problems. They promised a 1-year warranty, but whenever we raise a complaint, they take forever to respond—or sometimes just close the ticket without fixing anything. In Santa Rita, the warranty supervisor Tony doesn’t care about customer service. He never replies properly and doesn’t communicate well. For example, I reported a crack in my sink. Hello, please beware when you are purchasing a home with Chesmar. Why you ask well let me just say it is pouring raining in the Georgetown area right now and my drive way is filled with water and I was told that they will not do anything about it if it drains within 36 hours, but what if it rains for 36 hours then what do i do just get out my truck and step into a puddle of water every time.
