I have never witnessed such a shocking lack of compassion in a medical setting. My visit began with a reasonable wait to get into a bed after being transported from urgent care because they could not manage my pain. That was the last moment anything felt remotely acceptable. Once in the ER, I was given an IV with pain medication and had blood drawn—yet no one ever explained why the labs were taken or what the results were. After that, I was simply abandoned. The overall care of this emergency department is really lacking. I watched the nurses treating a sick elderly woman who was in pain with complete disregard. No comfort or assistance offered when transporting her. Didn't assist her into the chair for transport when she was clearly struggling. People are stationed in hallways to receive care once admitted. My children were dismissed as having "just a cold" and 1 day later required antibiotics from their primary care. A confirmed respiratory infection was already working it's w... read more

Great place to go if you want to die. Fairly quiet this night when we had to take my wife do to a possible stroke. I hate when ER's don't staff properly and the sense of urgency is non existent. This place fits that stereo type. Going on hour 3 and still waiting. They do not consider the people that are still up after a long day and have another long day ahead of them tomorrow.
