We love Dr. Shaw. She has treated out fogs and cats. She seems to take more time with our pets and I feel gives a more thorough exam.
I can't say enough good things about Chesapeake Veterinary Hospital. I've been using them since 2005 and will not go anywhere else. Their compassion along with the experienced vets and top notch office folks is unprecedented!

I have been in a few times in the last month with both my JRT and Rottie, and I have to say I love the vets here. There no nonsense straight to the point and won't sugar coat it and I think that is important when it comes to your pets health. They will fully explain the problem and your best option to resolve. Not only this but back in 2009 when my house burnt down they took all three of our mastiffs in and treated them from smoke inhalation with no questions asked. I have been coming here for 19 years. I have had to send at least 3 cats and 5 dogs to the Bridge here and I highly recommend every single vet. I want nothing sugar coated even though it is hard to handle at times, and they give it to you straight. And the staff is caring, kind, thoughtful and are truly my friends and family. Thank you all.
