I absolutely love and recommend this veterinary hospital. My Rottweiler is 120 lbs and most vets we have seen in the past are very intimidated by him. Chesapeake vet has always treated him with love. They have worked with us to figure out how to help with his allergies and chronic ear infections and have always helped make It affordable and less stressful. I had to change my review from 5* to 1. We have brought our animals to this vet for years. We have spent many thousands of dollars here and done absolutely everything they've recommended. When we recently had to put our dog down due to cancer, we thought we could trust them. We asked for our dog to be cremated and returned to us. It was very clear on the consent form, and not a cheap option. We were told we could pick him up in a week. We had to call after 2+ weeks of not hearing from them. Apparently there was a mistake. Angler and Kylo love everyone at CBV especially Dr. Maddie and Dr.Dexter. Have been going there since 1997 love the practice.
Dr. Dexter is amazing! We just switched from Queenstown veterinary hospital (we loved it there, but it has grown too expensive for us). Dr. Dexter and the staff fit us in and made us feel welcome and cared for. It was nerve racking to switch places, but we are very happy we did.
My old boy (14 years) just loves seeing Dr Maddie and all the other girls in the office too! She’s helped so much with his arthritis and pain management.
