I am sitting at a drive in movie at the nursing home. The movie is Grease. Amazing efforts made by staff.
If I could score therapy and the nurses separately. The therapists would receive a 5 and the nurses a P. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the bad. Rocky had knee replacement and suffers from Parkinson’s. I was afraid I would not be able to care for him at home right after his surgery. We made arrangements and we extremely pleased with what they said and we saw. We told them why he was coming and they told us he would get therapy 3 times a day, 7 days a week. My Mom did not want to go a rehabilitation center but she really had no choice. Chesapeake Health and Rehabilitation Center made her welcome and took great care of her. Thank you very much for helping her to return home.
I am going home after having a stroke. It's been less than a month and after working with physical and occupational therapy have been able to go home and function pretty much on my own. The entire staff here has been wonderful. They treat each other with respect and are like family. You can tell that this is what they want to be doing. I have made many friends here and will miss them. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.
MY COUSIN AND FRIEND ARE THERE THEY SEEM TO LIKE BEING THERE SEEMS TO A DELIGHTFUL PLACE STAFF IS AMAZING
After spinal surgery I found myself at the Center and the care I received was FANTASTIC!!!!!! The staff was like family and I have never seen a more team oriented organization anywhere. The cleaning people were on the job and always willing to pitch in wherever needed, always friendly and smiling. In fact I never encountered a grouch anywhere in the staff.
