As a pre-school teacher, my back is always challenged and has always been a problem for me. At the beginning of the year, I injured myself by picking up one of my students and was very limited in my movement and in constant pain as a result. I have been seeing Dr. Thomas for a couple of months and my back has never felt better. Her staff is friendly and accommodating; they make sure I'm out of the office and back to work as fast as possible, which I really appreciate. Overall a great place to go for chiropractic care.
The doctors at CC are great. The phrase ‘XL disc herniation’ is not one you ever want to hear or feel. Instead of exploring surgical treatment, I opted for spinal care and therapy. With a treatment protocol prescribed by CC’s doctors, I not only received immediate relief but have continued on the path to being pain free. I continue with the prescribed stretches and exercises as well as maintanence visits - and I continue to be pain free! Thanks Dr. Thomas and Dr. Bailes!
Chesapeake Chiropractic is one of the most excellent practices I've had the pleasure to be involved with. Dr. Karen and Dr. Lisa are extremely knowledgeable in their field, and strive to give each patient the best care possible. All treatments are done with the patient's activity and mobility level in mind. Shoulder was frozen and in pain. After first visit, relief was incredible. Every visit following brought pain relief that was lasting. Professionalism was very noticeable from making the appointment to Doctor Thomas’ adjustment to post adjustment therapy. Today the healers at CC worked to realign a misaligned joint in my foot-ie turf toe. Dr. Thomas executed a procedure that popped the toe back into alignment. We heard the pop. While my tendonitis is still present...my toe joint had been an ongoing pain. It was difficult to walk. It had been weeks of hobbling around. I'm icing my foot now, but it feels soooo much better.
