I pictured this place being a lot different than it was. I thought you could make your own macaroon ice cream sandwich but you can only choose from the already prepared ones. I got the Rocky Road macaroon ice cream sandwich and it was good but was kinda too much after I got through half of it. I was surprised to see that most people came in for just the ice cream rather than the macaroon sandwiches. Overall it was a cute place but I just had higher expectations.

I bought 22 of the macaron ice cream sandwiches for a birthday and they were a hit! We ordered 10 different flavors and everyone had fun picking which macaron flavor they wanted. The fruit loops macaron ice cream sandwich had fruit loop flavored ice cream and looked so bright and fun! The only downside is that these sandwiches are pretty expensive, they are $6 each! If you can splurge they are worth the money.

The Thai Iced Tea macaron ice cream sandwich is the way to go. :) It tasted exactly like Thai Iced Tea and the macaron is nice and chewy. We've been here twice so far after having dinner at BLD, which is just down the street, and there's always been a line. It moves fairly quickly, though. I got a couple items from the pastry/baked goods area and while I can't remember all of them, the Nutella Tartine was pretty memorable. This time around, I got a bar. There wasn't a flavor of the macaron sammy I wanted to try. Strawberry Shortcake & Nutella. I regretted getting the bar after the first bite. Nutella does not taste like Nutella. It's just a chocolate bar with chocolate ice cream. Too much chocolate for me. And I don't like chocolate ice cream. The strawberry shortcake was too sweet. No bueno. All in all, I will never get the bar.

We came here on a Wednesday afternoon for a sweet snack. It was my first time here and we got 2 macaron ice cream sandwiches: Thai Tea and Maraschino Cherry. Both flavors were really good and we will definitely be back to try their other products. These are the best macaron ice cream sandwiches I've had; the macaron shell is still soft and gives when you bite into it, unlike some other ones I have had where the shell is super hard and it just cracks.
