Not a great place to go for service I took my car (VW Jetta) here because the check engine light came on. The customer service person called me to tell me I needed to replace the catalytic converter at a cost of $1100, but could not tell me what the cat. converter does or why I needed a new one. I think a business that is asking for that much money should be able to explain the part to you! The person I worked with was not able to answer the questions I asked. Shop Mgr threatened to hit us Mike (shop manager?) threatened to hit me and my fiancé in front of customers, staff and the sales manager. Stood face to face with him and he wanted to "bring it on". Can you believe it? We tried to get help from the Sales Manager, felt sorry for the guy. He just stood there and didn't know what to say. TERRIBLE!!! Luther Westside is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure working with. I bought a 2012 Routan and 3 days after I noticed the CD player was not functioning correctly. I returned to the dealership to have it examined and they also found the CD player to be defective. They replaced the CD player with the same model and the exact same problem was happening. This dealership sets the bar! I recently purchased a 2010 VW Jetta for my son at Herzog Meier Volkswagen. I purchase Mercedes, Cadillac and Land Rovers for myself, but this was one of the best experiences to date with a car dealership. Great manager, sales and staff. They make purchasing a vehicle easy and set a role model for the industry.
Great Customer Service & Quality Work My experience at HM was a good one. I had a BAD experience with another dealership just after I bought my car (warranty/tow problem with awful customer service) and so I stayed away from dealerships for 7 years. However, I had occasion to come back for a recall type issue and was pleased with the emphasis on customer service at HM. I got great customer service and quality work, so I'm glad I gave them a shot.
Do NOT buy a car from Herzog Meier. My wife and I purchased a late model Volvo from Herzog-Meier and wow â what a mistake. After a long pitch about how âdependableâ the Volvo is, they then sold us a warranty for $2000 that covers absolutely NOTHING. As soon as we bought the car, the coolant light came on. When I went to fill the coolant, I couldnât open the hood because the hood latch was broken. Simply the best! I recently moved to the area and went to Herzog Meier Volvo to get my C70 serviced and I canât tell you enough how impressed I was. The service was preformed without issue, they provided a nice waiting area for me to wait and even have FREE wireless internet access so I was able to work while I was waiting. Simply amazing service. Tim
