Long considered the black sheep of Cherry Creek North Shopping District upscale entertainment district, this lively neighborhood tavern serves some of the best bar food in town. The only catch is trying to snare a table, for it is always busy. The bar serves 23 beers on tap and 50 in bottles. For dining options, try the bar's famous homemade green chili or a plate of cold pot roast with horseradish sauce. There is also a poolroom in the back.

RecommendedI asked Siri to give me directions to the nearest sports bar and she took us to Cherry Cricket. Great service even though we were sporting our Oakland Raiders gear. I had the green chili relleno burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten!! I cut it in half to take some back to the room. Didn’t happen. I ate it all. Delicious fries, also!! We will definitely return.

We got seated right away but then the wait started. After 10 minutes of watching numerous wait staff walk past our table we had to stop one to ask if we had a waiter or waitress. Quickly someone appeared and took our drink orders. Our drinks arrived quickly with only one minor mistake out of the 5 drinks. With a short wait our food cane out. Very good burger! The wait staff was nice and all of the food was great. Highly recommend getting a burger and shake if it is just one of those nights.
