Long considered the black sheep of Cherry Creek North Shopping District upscale entertainment district, this lively neighborhood tavern serves some of the best bar food in town. The only catch is trying to snare a table, for it is always busy. The bar serves 23 beers on tap and 50 in bottles. For dining options, try the bar's famous homemade green chili or a plate of cold pot roast with horseradish sauce. There is also a poolroom in the back.

Burgers, fries, draft beer
Great Burgers! I had the 1/2 pound blackened burger with smoked cheddar and a side of rings. It was the best burger that I've had in a long time! Very affordable prices, especially considering the area. Don't know about their other food but this was A+. Great selection of draft beers also. Check out their website to see specials and soup of the day. Word to the wise, this place gets packed on the weekends. Plan on a wait to get in if you go during peak times.
Cherry Cricket I have gone to the Cherry Cricket twice with my husband and friends. It's always crowded and it's a fun, young place to go.If you have out of town company it's a nice jaunt to the Cherry Cricket especially if you are entertaining the younger generation. The burgers are really good. The place is just a small hole in the wall and nothing fancing but it draws a fun crowd.
Best Burgers in town If you are new to Denver, or never been to this staple of North Cherry Creek, GO!. They have great food in a relaxed atmosphere that is completely disappearing from N. Cherry Creek with the invasion of all the yuppy restaurants. The Cricket has great food, drinks, pooltables, and a non-smoking eating area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! PROS: Food, Atmosphere, People, Location CONS: Can get VERY busy on the weekends
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER I can't say that one star has anything to do with the food quality, as we left before ordering. Upon arrival on a Sunday night at 7:00 p.m., we entered into a horribly loud, packed, and physically uncomfortable atmosphere. My party was ID checked at the door and promptly ignored. That is until a rude server told us we could not stand in the entryway and that we needed to move to the back of the restaurant. We headed to the back and found a table that was open. A while later, a server approached indicati... read more
Best burgers in town! Their burgers are awesome and great for a hungry family! Be prespared to wait, though and street parking can be tough to find and get expensive during peak times. We ate there mid-afternoon during the week, when parking was ealier to find and the wait time wasn't as long. Wait-staff is friendly, and high energy. The atmosphere is great for kids, teens and noisy families!
Best Burgers This has to be the best burger joint in Denver. I am never disappointed with the food. The fried macaroni and cheese is incredible for a "gotta have it" splurge. A great bar atmosphere, with a ton of seating since they expanded. This is a great neighborhood haunt, but if you live in the burbs it is worth the trip, plus you can shop Cherry Creek North, make a day of it.
Cherry Cricket A great dive in the midst of swanky Cherry Creek. I'm surprised they let it live and thrive, except it has such great fun ambiance.Great burgers, green chili, beer, loud fun music and something for the young crowd to do.
