Stephanie 79,, not the same Cherokee S.H. I know – Stephanie 79 must not have eaten at the same Cheerokee Steak House the we and many of our friends have eaten at. I would think Stephanie 79 is not a very nice person. I have eaten in every major city in the U.S and Europe. No, it is not The Stock Yard, Ruth's Chris, Jimmy Kelly's, or Mortons. Cherokee Steak House & Marina – My husband and I went to Cherokee Steak house & Marina last night and we thought it was excellent. We had heard good and bad reviews. My husband is a culinary student and we know good food. I ordered fried mushrooms and we each had a salad with our jumbo shrimp and baked potato. They had wonderful homemade yeast rolls. The waitress was so friendly and the atmosphere down by the boat dock is great. Take bread with you to feed the ducks. I think you should try it. You wont be disappointed!
Don't even waste your money!!!!!!! – My family and I dined at Cherokee Steak House last weekend, and the food was absolutely horrible. There were 11 of us, and noone enjoyed their meal. Every single steak was not properly cooked, and we had to wait 90 minutes for a table. Honestly, for almost $300 you can get such a better meal. In the day, this was the only decent steakhouse in the area, but those days are gone. I wish they could get their quality back, but time after time we seem to be dissapointed. NOT THE BEST!!!!!!! – I dined at Cherokee Steak House last week, and was very pleased with the wait for we got right in. The service at Cherokee was remarkable, but the food was horrible! I ordered the pasta dish, and the noodles were obviously not fresh as well as the chicken was dry and tough. Not very impressed. – My family and I recently ate dinner at Cherokee Steak House. The wait was almost 2 hours, and by the time we had sit down to order, the waitress proceeded to tell us they were out of 5 different items on the menu we always get. We overlooked the problem and ordered something else. The food wasn't warm when it arrived and steaks were overcooked. Great Steaks!!!! – It has the best atmosphere!!! It is right on the lake, so bring your bread they have lots of hungry ducks. It is B.Y.O.B. That makes it great as well because you can have your favorite drink.
