Cherokee Cattle Co. is set up like a large Western roadhouse with high ceilings and lots of Western decorations. This renders it a hearty steak house appeal. For a family Christmas lunch on a Saturday one would think the mananger would have more than one waitress for a group of 23. Between the food coming out room temp, the wrong food, and no food for 2 kids the manager didn't step in till the last min. As for the famed dessert selection we received the wrong item and the other was old enough to start to sour. This is our third time here and last. All other Marietta dinner family of restaurants are great but this one is done....
Our steaks were horrible. I usually go to Texas road house, but we love Marietta diner so we thought this would be good too. Wish we had gone else where. Won't make that mistake again!
Steak was over cooked and had lots of grissle. Expected better for the price. Creamed spinach was flavorful, but literally there was only 2 tablespoons full as the serving. Waitress was great.

Mom ordered the filet medallions and shrimp special. She said the steak was better than Longhorns! The steak was very flavorful and tender. She said the shrimp were very good. She ate those first. She was expecting the medallions to be smaller, but there were 3 good sized pieces of steak, cooked to perfection! I ordered the chopped steak covered in onions and cheese with a Jack Daniels sauce. Very tasty! Both came with 2 sides and mine came with soup or salad. We just ate leftovers for dinner and I still have plenty for lunc... read more
