I had the worst massage I have ever had in my life here and I am someone that gets massages frequently as a form of self care. The massage was horrible. I am not exaggerating. First, she just pressed down on me with a sheet over me for like 20 minutes. I had to ask her, are you going to even massage me with oil? Then she said oh ok. I had a terrible experience at Chens Massage. The therapist kept applying excessive pressure during the massage, even after I informed her I had an injury. Despite my repeated requests (there was a language barrier) for her to be more gentle, she continued to work on the injured area in a way that felt more like abuse than therapy. To make matters worse, when it was time to pay, she aggressively demanded a 20% tip, even though I had already tipped $10. I have been going to Chens for years. The prices have gone way up since I began using them, but I understand the price of everything is up these days. However today I booked a couples massage on the website, and recieved confirmation email. Good to go. Lined up child care, only for them to call me an hour later to tell me they cannot accommodate me. Why was it listed as available on the website? Why did I get a confirmation?
