I had a terrible experience at Chens Massage. The therapist kept applying excessive pressure during the massage, even after I informed her I had an injury. Despite my repeated requests (there was a language barrier) for her to be more gentle, she continued to work on the injured area in a way that felt more like abuse than therapy. I have been going to Chens for years. The prices have gone way up since I began using them, but I understand the price of everything is up these days. However today I booked a couples massage on the website, and recieved confirmation email. Good to go. Lined up child care, only for them to call me an hour later to tell me they cannot accommodate me. Why was it listed as available on the website? Why did I get a confirmation? Worst massage experience ever. I treated me and my mom to a massage for Mother’s Day, and the experience was horrible. I had the lady and she was very aggressive. I thought getting a massage was supposed to be relaxing? My back been killing me since I left there. I asked my mom how was her massage and she said the guy was very aggressive as well.
