Such a gorgeous venue! A photographers dream with amazing lighting!
As a caterer (Adeline Leigh Catering), there are many venues I have had experience with that leave a lot to be desired; The Cheney Place is definitely NOT one of those venues. The venue itself is beautiful. The staff at TCP have thought of everything (including ample space for the caterers). The venue is clean, easy to locate, easy to decorate , and is very large. I had the honor of planning a styled shoot that we used the top floor of the Cheney for, and it turned out flawless! It's so open, we had use of the freight elevator to bring in all of our props and set, the staff was friendly, and went above and beyond to get us everything we needed, and the shoot went off without a hitch. Love! I would definitely recommend this space for any upcoming photo or video shoots you might have!
The Cheney Place is awesome!! We held an event there for Davenport University and it turned out wonderful because of the helpful and flexible staff members! The building is absolutely stunning and able to offer something for everyone! I highly recommend this venue!

We had our daughters reception at the Cheney and it was wonderful! The staff was so helpful, professional and kind. It was awesome to be able to stretch out in such a large building. Having access to the second floor was great as it was a good place for family and friends to gather for conversation in a quieter place. So many of our guests commented on how much they liked the venue. It was beautiful for pictures and very impressive.

We just had our fundraising event there last night, and The Cheney Place is, by far, the best event facility we have ever used. Not only is it very nice, very spacious and very cool - but the staff was absolutely amazing, accommodating and helpful. So extremely impressed with everything and I can only say to others, “you have to check this place out!”
What a great Urban Space with Fun Fancy Fray Furniture to create any one of a kind event you would like!! It's wonderful to have a venue like The Cheney Place with a modern brick and industrial feel. Love what they have done with the 2nd Floor!!!
