Ok, I didn't get my money back. The owner, who is also the installer, apologized, gave me a discount and installed my flooring 4 days later. He did a good job with the installation but it wasn't the color I had chosen. I had a photo of the sample I wanted and he agreed that was not what he had started to install. I didn't mind the color and didn't want to deal with the hassle of him having to correct the error. The only problem that I had with this Contractor was his personnel. Very bad business owner. I ordered flooring and had to put 1/2 the money down upfront. A couple of weeks later I received a phone call stating the flooring is in and they would like to schedule a time for installation within 2 weeks. I marked my calendar and took the needed time off work to be there on the scheduled date and time (It had been almost 1 month since they cashed my deposit by this time). They were a no show.
