This one star is not for Lake Behavioral as a whole. I’ve spoken with many employees across different departments and have always been treated with respect and understanding. This rating is strictly for APRN Jimmy Smith. My experience with him was extremely disappointing. He was rude, dismissive, and showed no genuine interest in what was actually best for my mental or physical health. Jimmy Smith has been a life saver. He truly cares about his patients and I am thankful for finding him.
Terrible organization, they get a one because there isn’t a zero, which is the amount that they helped us. We waited the appropriate amount of time and the counselor cancelled on us the morning of due to “not being able to take family cases anymore”. After complaining about that and asking for a new counselor, they gave us one that was worthless. Would NOT recommend them at all.
BEWARE OF FRADULENT BILLING!!!! Billing Manager Kim Johnson submits multiple insurance claims for each visit, sends patients billing statements prior to claims being processed by insurance, and refuses to answer the phone!! DO NOT GO HERE.
Dr.Dunlow couldn't even respond to email and the office staff was nonsense mutiple times. Finally done when they canceled my appointment without even talking to me.
