I'll take my business elswhere, thank you. This shop has good stuff, but the one in Fairview is so packed, you can't find anything without assistance. The prices are tend to be a little ridiculous as well. Otherwise, the staff is generally friendly and very helpful, but one woman who I don't see all too often (I assume she's the owner/boss) is not particularly friendly. Great when you need something fast When I've needed something in a pinch, and didn't want to drive down to Fairview, I've stopped in Chef's Shoppe to get in and out. For home chefs, this little resource near Schnuck's is a fabulous in-and-out type of place. You can find whatever your kitchen desires, from cutlery to garlic peelers, and the employees are typically friendly and helpful. Best popcorn in the central IL area and maybe the whole state, so many flavors to choose from!
I love this store and have shopped there for nearly 25 years! Their coffee, oils, vinegars, and popcorn are fabulous. Their kitchen tools and gadgets are terrific. What is their secret sauce, though, is their customer service. Outstanding people!
They have some of the best popcorn around. Always friendly workers when you walk in the door and everything is so fresh.
