Since its establishment in 1921. Chef Vola's has come to be a household name in Atlantic City. Although located just off the boardwalk, the restaurant's location has nothing to do with its popularity. The main dining room is tucked away in the basement of an old house along South Albion Place. Reservations are a must if you want a table, and don't forget to bring your own wine! On the menu you will find a selection of cassic Italian dishes like Veal Parmesa, Linguine with Clams and Veal Milanese. Reservations are often hard to get, so be sure to call at least a few weeks in advance. The side effects of dining here include possible addiction and a tendency to look down upon all other Italian

An eating experience you will never forget! This is the closest you will ever get to eating at your Italian Grand Mom's house on a Sunday afternoon. The food is phenomenal, the service is impeccable but the overall experience is not to be matched anywhere. Bring your own spirits and have the best eating experience ever.

Fantastic – I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. This place is fantastic. Very tough to get a reservation because it's so popular, but once you're in, it's great. The decor is not much to write home about, but you're really here for the food. The menu is purely optional, as the waitress/waiter will ready you about 5-10mins worth of specials. Everything is cooked just right and the deserts are great too. Two other things to mention - it's BYOB, so don't forget your wine/beer and #2 - it's cash only, so don't plan on charging anything!! Enjoy

Unique and Special! Take a walk back in time to a place in Atlantic that seems more like a speak easy than a world class restaurant. This unasuming restaurant is located in the basement of a house located on a back street near the Tropicanna. You have to call for reservations and leave your name and a return number. You will be called back - maybe. But if you get the call, be prepared for a great dining experience. You knock on the door and usually are greated by the owner. You are taken to your table where you feel like you are a VIP. Everything on the menu is made to order by the owner. Especially the desserts. This is a pricey restaurant, but worth every penny.

disappointing – 4 courses-salad basic, pasta @ 18$ soggy, brocli rabe no flavor and soggy, veal fabulous which is should be for $37 Sharing charge ridiculous. Asked for pasta al dente which should be a given in a italian restaurant and still given soggy- told would redo same again...Space clautraphobic. It must be group mentality that always rates it the best-I don't see it whatsoever.
