The homemade lasagna is superlative, and there's also spaghetti with meat or without, and ravioli - all made with Chef's famous homemade sauce. This restaurant has been family-operated since 1923. Best sauce EVER! Love that they have so many gluten free options!!!!
If you have never been to Chef's Restaurant, you don't know what you're missing. The Spaghetti Parm is the best, the salads are huge, and the fresh bread is never ending. I Love Chef's!! Best Italian food I have ever eaten.
Terrible experience. Hostess (older lady with brown hair) didn't make eye contact with us for about 10 minutes while we stood at the stand. She finally looked up and said "not until 8:00". I understand that it's a busy restaurant, but had we been acknowledged we'd probably be waiting for a table right now. Never coming back
This is the best Italian food in all of NY! Phyllis is the best waitress ever! The atmosphere is fantastic, giving the best overall experience you can ask for. We come here every year when visiting the area.
