About this business

What else is there to say except: homemade Italian! You get all the Italian classics, moderately priced, with a casual atmosphere and portions that guarantee you won't leave hungry. The homemade lasagna is superlative, and there's also spaghetti with meat or without, and ravioli - all made with Chef's famous homemade sauce. This restaurant has been family-operated since 1923. Just a few blocks from Dunn Tire Park and HSBC Arena, making it a great place to dine before a game. But allow enough time because they'll be busy. See... read more

Well if you aren't a regular here that's really a shame. Always consistent, best wait staff. Spaghetti parm. Chefs is a Buffalo institution.

Had dinner with friends here on Monday night 7/17 and everything was absolutely wonderful. Lasagna was delicious with an ample amount of sauce. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. Best part of everything was our waitress...Casey!!! She was one of the best servers I have ever had. Also...the bread you serve is the best!! I look forward to my next visit and I highly recommend this resturant!

Plus, they are extremely community minded and donate their services to many worthy causes. Chefs is an Intercal part of ... read more

It was my first time and it was very good. Stuffed peppers had just enough heat, the sauce on the pasta was great and my chicken cutlet was crisp and juicy. Didn't care for the cannoli though. The shell was stale & soggy. Will definitely come again.

Had reservations for a bday dinner. Was told ahead of time to pre order cassata cake. I did. I pre ordered 2 slices. They guaranteed it was no problem!! The girl cld wed to confirm friday, again, cassata cake was mentioned, again...no problem! Go to dinner, the manager approaches me with the news that there is no cake!! Mind u, it was reserved! So, I seriously doubt, Chefs has 2 incompetent servers...I think either one of their regular big spenders came in, and they got the cake, or, someone that knows a server well,convince... read more
