Must visit this nostalgic place when you visit Boston. Very large portions. they serve a very good tasty burger and fries; Excellent Bloody Mary's too! Reasonable prices; Waitstaff is courteous and efficient. Parking does not exist... Take a taxi.
Meh.. Going to Cheers is definitely for the atmosphere and how it's famous from the TV show. We came here for a 21st birthday lunch outing. The drinks were fine but the food was mediocre. Sadly, everyone got burgers or a chicken sandwich so I can't vouch for the other items but for me and my friend specifically, our burgers were very dry and flavorless. We both asked for medium-rare and our burgers were definitely medium if not well done. The fries were pretty good though. The pickle was still in the cucumber stage and not b... read more
Cap the "Norm" Urge. As we stepped into the bar, I was overcome with the urge to yell "Norm"! Fortunately I overcame that urge as I am sure the locals (which were few) and the bar employees would have audibly groaned in unison. Very much a tourist trap, but ya-ta-hey?! You know it is going to be that way!! We managed to make our way through the crowd and pry ourselves in edgewise at the bar, ordered a couple of drinks, and courteously chugged them to make way for the next thirsty set of tourists. Having been there and done ... read more
Nice place and ambiance. Arrived on a Friday evening and found the lower bar closed due to a private party. So we missed seeing the Cheers bar. Went upstairs to the secondary bar. The nachos were Great!
Fun place & great food. Clam chowder was AMAZING!
Bull & Finch is the location of Cheers from the 80s tv sitcom. My family and I had a great time there. I had a panini and some local brewed beers. Nice place to visit especially if you watched the show and are visiting Boston.
American Tradition. Where Everyone Knows your name...Great place. It gets no better then this. I had a awesome cheeseburger that was devine and I washed it down with a good ole American beer that supplemented the burger well. The service was great too even if you go at peak time, servers take care of your food and beverage needs right away. I'm counting down till I get to return to this establishment of GREATNESS! RATING: 9.9!
What a great experience overall. Walking up to the Cheers enterance took me instantly back to the show I loved so many years ago. Walking down the stairs made me think of NORM! Upon entering, youll notice it bears no resembelance to the television shows bar(I think everyone knows that @ this point). Has a great classic pub feel to it. Sat almost instantly. Great staff and good food. More of a novelty to say," I went to Cheers" then to say," wow this was the best pub food I ever had!", but a nice place to visit when in Boston... read more
Touristy spot. We came when the cubs were playing the red sox, so it was packed with Chicago fans. Food was okay, just like any other pub food.
