Visited this landmark and it’s really cool. Busy with locals and tourists.. service was spot on.. bartender, Jenny was local and interesting to talk to. Potato Skins were delicious and filling. Beer is cold. Been there. Got the T-shirt.
Decided to stop into Cheers for a pre-game drink. This was the other inside Cheers (not the outside one). Staff were friendly and prices were decent.
Visiting Cheers was definitely on our bucket list of things to do in Boston. Come here for the atmosphere and see where it all began, and take a picture with the sign and peruse the menu (scattered with signature dishes from your favourite characters such as Frasier’s chicken panini). Unfortunately, the food is nothing to write home about, nor the service. However, would recommend a drink and snacks here instead.
Fattie likes! This was a bucket list place to visit. We ate at the upstairs restaurant/bar. The food was good. I had the reuben sandwich. Beer was good. NORM!!
Cramped up basement bar!! Decent crowd and bar food. Good beers, favourite was boston lager thats only brewed in boston! Chill casual place to hangout. Its a very old and popular bar. You can also find them selling some interesting souvenirs.
We we're visiting Boston from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and going to Cheers was definitely on the to-do list for my Mom and aunt. As cool as it was to see the sign on the outside, I would havepreferred quicklysnapping a photo and then going on my way. A little disappointed that we wasted a good hour in this joint when we could have been exploring the city. If you must go inside... Limit yourselves to drinks only as the food is absolutely atrocious. My Momhad ordered the Turkey Burger, whichwas the equivalenttocardboard on a bunwith... read more
I was in town for a family reunion, and this was a must visit during our free time. The food was not that good, our server Stormy had a nasty attitude, the place was PACKED. I can at least say that I was in Cheers in Boston.
Outside looks authentic! Inside not so much...but Very efficient service!!!! Top notch We went on a Tuesday night after rolling into town on a flight from Hades! Actually, it was Toronto, but to Vancouverites it comes close. So we dumped our bags and strapped on our tourist helmets and shamelessly went to Cheers. Veggie Burger, Fish & chips, chowder, two pints of Adams and a cider $48 before tip. We stayed longer because it was stand up comedy. Totally rookie night but it was nice to be entertained. Appreciated. Burger was ... read more
