There is usually always a wait, but it is well worth it. The food is great. Have not found anything I do not like.
Great food, great service... only problem I have is the wait is too long (I guess that is a testament to the rest of what I just said)!
The food is great! On weekends, the line and wait is outrageous, but it's because of how great the food is and the prices. They try their hardest to get you in and out quickly, but a lot of large groups come in for the weekends. I have even seen people have dinners to celebrate baby showers, which means some people for sit for hours on end at Cheddars. I've never had bad service and the managers usually come around and ask how everything is. Love this place!
Complaint about service – There were 3 of us for lunch today, - our waiter, Timmy at table 116. was not friendly; made errors on two of the orders, failed to ask if we wanted a refill on the coffee. He may have been having a bad day but needs to sharpen his people skills.
Cheddars is our favorite casual dining destination in Springfield. Evidently, we are not alone as Cheddars was voted the favorite casual restaurant in a local poll. This is where to go when you can't decide what you want to eat. The choices are almost endless...from appetizers to salads & soup to steaks, burgers,BBQ, pasta and more. The service is always friendly and efficient. Recommended are the onion rings and the baby back ribs, but any choice will be delicious.
excellent food, great prices – the food here is terrific. so are the prices. the wait is not as long as you anticipate when you pull up and cant find a parking lot. my friend and i meet up there once every month or two to catch up on things and no matter what time we go, the waiter or waitress tries to rush out of there. we have tried to avoid that by going at odd times like 2 in the afternoon or 4:30. i have even told our waitresses that we are here mainly to visit and are going to be here a while. the last time i went, our... read more
