Great subs
I've been a long standing customer of Cheba Hut for 20 plus years...But today's experience was the absolute worst. I noticed the sign on the door said they were closing early today at 3 pm. I purchased my sandwich, chips and drink at 2:25 pm. Since it's 115 degrees out and there is no outside seating I asked to dine in, also my receipt confirms the same. Food was great, was unaware they served beer, which is awesome. Portion was good, sandwiches were fantastic. The guy who took our order was a bit rude the whole interaction it felt. Maybe just an off day for him, but other than that, would definitely come back.
