Great park and great people to work with. My wife and I camped there for almost a year in 2013 and the first part of 2014. We became camp host in the upper camp ground and had a wonderful time. The ice storm in 2014 did a lot of damage to the park but all the employees pulled together and worked very hard and long to get the park up and running again. I can't believe the state would even consider closing this park. With all the history in this park I wonder if the governor of Alabama has even been to Cheaha. Just asking! Won... read more
I have lived in Munford, just below the mountain,all my life. We all grew up, visiting the parks on Cheaha Mountain. Great place!!!! Keep the parks open!!!!!
