The only place I want to go on the Plaza. Great food, great music, great staff! The Raphael and Chaz is the Country Club Plaza as it used to, and should be. A true Kansas City Landmark.
Always quiet, great service and the food never disappoints. Can't recommend it too much. Valet parking makes it seamless!

We had friends in town for the weekend and we all wanted to meet here for breakfast. We walked in around 8am with our children who were well behaved and asked for a table for 7- 4 adults and 3 children. This was immediately a problem as they "don't normally accommodate a party of this size." From what we could see, the restaurant was empty except for one table, so we assumed them putting a table together would not take much time. Ate here with my girl for our one year anniversary and not only was our waiter a gentleman and a pleasure to have that evening. But our food was magnificent in taste and plated very tastefully. The appetizer of breaded calamari served over a spinach salad with a vinaigrette that was as good as iv ever had. We finally found a lovely, quiet and intimate place in KC for dinner. Amazing food, very nice live jazz. Our server Matt Z was perfectly professional and knew just the right times to check in with us. Extremely pleased and will definitely be returning.
RecommendedThis is a huge thank you to the Chaz for accommodating our family on my Son Robert and his College roommate Didier post graduation dinner on Saturday May 09, 2015. The staff was friendly, amazing, and welcoming. Even though not set up for wheelchair accessibility they found a way to get my mother into the building. I so appreciated all that you did for us.
