I do not recommend Dr. Stokes. I was admitted to the ER due to an ectopic pregnancy and I’ve never had a provider be so cold and unfeeling during such a difficult situation. When he came into the room his first words were to comment on what pregnancy number this is for me. No apologies or compassion for the difficult situation this is, no acknowledgment of what I’m going through, no sympathy, no asking about my pain, nothing. Dismissive and rushed visit I usually don’t leave reviews but I feel compelled to leave one for Dr Stokes. I scheduled a first time visit with him after researching good doctors in the is area and his name came up. The reviews were positives. My experience was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. The visit was rushed, his demeanor was disrespectful and he was dismissive. In 2025, it is hard to find doctors who will sit, listen, care, and most of all- not make you feel rushed. Dr. Stokes surprised me with his level of care and knowledge. His educated guesses make so much sense. You can tell he wants to help his patients. It was a breath of fresh air going to him and actually getting a solid game plan going for ongoing injuries I’ve had. These are the professionals we need in the health care industry!
