I went to the salon as a treat to myself. I told Jillian that I use a level 5 professional colour as a retouch on my roots. She had the colour swatches out and was totally ignoring me. I again said that I know my ends are darker but was planning on getting them lightened in a few weeks. So she went and mixed the colour and when she came back, I asked her what level she mixed up.
