Good thing: maintainance could be fast, very fast. When there's issue that they have direct answers for, they (both the board and the managemetn) answer it fast. People are nice; many of them are helpful Bad: If they don't have answers, they ignore you and you will never get an answer. On the move-in date I noticed this weird thing near my AC insulation so I wanted to check if it contains any asbestos which could be a health hazard; emailed management and board, and never got an answer even after I move out, 6 month later. Chateau Student Housing is a fantastic place to live if you're a student looking for affordable, community-oriented housing. The rent is super cheap compared to other places in the area because it's a non-profit run by students, for students. What I love most is the strong sense of community here. People actually know each other, and there are shared spaces and events that make it feel like home, not just a place to crash. I’ve truly loved living at this student co-op. The building’s a little old, but what really makes it special is the community. Coming from far away, this place quickly became so much more than just a place to stay it became home. I’ve made friends for life here. There are always events happening, and it’s such a great way to meet people, get involved, and feel like you belong. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and active place to live
