Over this past weekend...my wife and I just tied the knot here at the Chateau on the Lake! I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience as a whole. Coordinators Angela and Jessica were sweet as can be, and always on top of EVERYTHING. Likewise the concierge Angel was fantastically helpful the entire weekend. We ate in the Chateau Grill it is supposed to be an upscale restaurant but the food quality is not up to that par. We lucked out with a wonderful waiter who knew his job and was very attentive. The prices are $5 more than the quality of the food should elicit. Nice atmosphere fortunately there were lots of families with kids which made this very enjoyable.
My husband and I got married at Chateau in March and first off Anglea in events and catering in ridiculously amazing. She was always available and helpful leading up to the wedding. She helped us secure a special rate for our out of town guests and plan almost the entire wedding from over 5 hours away (we live in Texas). Was there for a wedding in the garden. The sunset wedding was beautiful. The hotel itself seems to need a little updating and a facelift. Had the most expensive glass of wine I have ever had while killing time.
Perfect place to stay!! We will be back to celebrate another Mother's Day weekend �
Beautiful place. Wonderful staff. Scenery is very relaxing. Be sure and bring wall chargers for your phone. They don't have typical USB power charging outlets
