The lobster was good but evidently the head chef was not there; It was supposed to be served on a bed of chipotle Risotto, instead it was brought out on a bed of too sweet black rice and overcooked greens. To her credit the waitress caught the mistake but it took 15 more minutes to get it. The bluberry salad was nothing like the one we had last year, again too sweet. This place is Beautiful no matter what time of year. The staff are friendly and the place is nice and peaceful with many places to sit and relax outside and inside. Waterfalls and birds inside. During Christmas they bring out homemade Gingerbread houses for Display. Awesome to look at along with the lights and trees.
Love gatherings at the Chateau, and the Library Lounge is my favorite spot!
The resort is lovely and the employees are excellent. I gave the resort 4 stars due to their broken elevator, guests were left waiting for long periods of time just to get to their rooms or back down to the lobby.
