I moved in lest than a week ago and the fire alarm has gone off 3 times, one at 3:30am. What is going on? I have 2 cats that are trying to settle into our new home and the alarms are incredibly disturbing. I get safety first, but after 2 late night alarms & one during my work from home hours, not for a real fire but a glitch of some sort, is ridiculous. I’m not sure what to do as I’ve just moved in, but I HOPE this is not a pattern or I will have to consider other options.

I signed a lease with Windsor Chastain in good faith, paid my prorated rent in full, and built my entire relocation around my confirmed move-in date. Days before I was supposed to move in, I got an email telling me the apartment wasn’t ready due to a “turnover delay.” No specific date, no real accountability — just an apology and a request for my “latest possible” move-in date. It's 3:30am and I am writing this review because the fire alarm has gone off for like the 15th time since I've lived here for 2.5 years. Not MY smoke alarm from cooking. The entire building and they expect you to evacuate. Some times its 30 min plus and sometimes its 5 min. It's usually some electrical malfunction and not a true fire/emergency which makes it worse. I came in to do a self-guided tour and that was OK because the woman at the front desk acted like she didn’t have any time for me . The staff were NOT helpful at all, and nobody ever followed up about renting an apartment. This place gives very prejudice vibes as well, especially from the residents, and it’s very clear who they want living here. I am a professional and so I will take my business elsewhere. Very bad energy !
