The brilliant colors, the music, the dancing in the streets and the sharing of food is a beautiful thing! It is said that this is what was done back during the depression and it brought the people together during the most difficult times of their lives. Let’s keep with the tradition, and lets celebrate with family and friendships throughout! We all need a little fun now and then! Viva Charro Days and Viva Brownsville, TX!

I marched in the Charro Day Parade 1st, 3rd, 7th & 8th Grade...Today after more than 20 years of being away from Brownsville due to my Service in the US Army I was able to share the Charro Days experience with my husband (originally from Los Angels) & my teenagers who were born in Japan & Arizona. They had a great time and will later enjoy the Sombrero Fest.
