RecommendedI have informed everyone in the Narcolepsy Support Group that Chris Winter's practice is one of the greatest blessings in my life thus far.
I originally met with Dr. Winter. I saw him a couple times. Something came up with his schedule and he had to cancel the appointment. I got rescheduled with Ellen. I was so happy to meet Ellen! She was very patient, kind, smart, and compassionate. She has helped me find a tolerable way to live with narcolepsy. This had been the change I was looking for. I continue seeing Ellen for my follow up appointments. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
If i could put fifty stars, I would. I finally feel like I found a doctor who understands what is going on with me and will do what it takes to help.
Doctor was very impressed with himself that he could diagnose without even meeting the patient. Had to go to D.C. to find a sleep specialist who knew more than how to prescribe a cpap.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Winter today and already can not say enough wonderful things about him and his office. Immediately upon meeting Dr. Winter I was treated with respect and understanding. When asked what brought me to his office all I could say was "my body is shutting down. I am exhausted, unable to think straight, unable to remember things that just happened, and feel awful". For the first time ever I was understood!
