I lost my wallet at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market today. A lady named Alyssa from Red Kapps produce found it and turned it into Ms. Amy Newsome at the office at the market. The wallet was turned in with along with all of its contents. Thank all of you at the market. If you're ever at that farmers market stop by Red Kapps produce. Aside from being honest they also have great produce at a reasonable price! Thanks again!
I'm a shopper and a vendor at the market. There's a wide variety of food and artisan goods and we're open year round. It's a great way to shop local and support small family-owned businesses. Toushea Body Boutique is located in booth 11 in bldg B, between Mr. Robinson and WoodMill Winery.
I have mixed reviews regarding this market. So far I’ve been twice this year. Several booths were closed while their produce just sat. I know now which booths not to visit in the future. A few gems stood out with their products, the reason why I will return. For a large city I would expect more booths; perhaps there’s not enough foot traffic to merit more vendors.
I loved everything I tried today and can't wait to get home to cook with all my beautiful veggies and sauces. I'm so disappointed I've lived in Charlotte 10 years and had never been before today!
My first impression wasn't the best. Most of the spots were closed or empty. The cucumbers I got had no taste. Disappointed! I've had better from food lion. I expect better from farm fresh. and the pineapple was bad. Went in garbage....
When, after 5 years where there really isn't a Farmer's Market, to come in and be offered a sample of fresh strawberries and a peach....I'm in heaven. Since it was mid-week, not many vendors. Can't wait until the weekend.
Love it. The man from Fatboy Produce was very welcoming and friendly.
