Walked in masked up with my kids to request to see a physician so we could get a referral for COVID testing. We were denied access on the grounds that it put everyone at risk if we were there. I am incredulous. A health care facility used to dealing with urgent care symptoms of all sorts of sicknesses DENIED ME AND MY CHILDREN ACCESS because it “put them at risk.” Do the masks not work then? With online appointments and electronic sign in, there is very little waiting. The staff is courteous and professional, the treatment is thorough.
I took my soon there yesterday for coughing, sore throat and swollen glands and we were told he just has a cold. Dr said it might be pneumonia tomorrow but it isn't anything today. This morning I took him and my youngest son into the redi Care in Eaton rapids and they both have strep. Was there one other time and felt rushed out the door then as well. Definitely not going back.
This place is a joke. My daughter went in yesterday for goopy eyes and Dr halak said she was fine. Took her to get second opinion first thing in the morning next day and she has fucking pink eye in both eyes. Just like thought I thought she did. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. Worst place ever.
The first time in a few months ago I felt rushed out and the doctor and nurses ledt after sending us on our way. Today I showed up 2 hours before their closing time of 7pm and the doors were locked. There were cars in the lot so I know someone was there. I saw someone else come up and also try to get in. After the person after me left I watched the doc/nurses leave. I'm hoping they have a good reason for closing early. Being a medical facility I feel closing early shouldn't be an option.
