go to UConn health center any day of the week before you go to this pathetic backwater excuse for a Hospital. easily the worst emergency department I have ever had the displeasure of being treated at. they have a small handful of professional, caring, compassionate employees but boy do you have to weed through the garbage to find them. they really know how to pick em

A friend of mine Maegan waited over 5 hours to be seen said was going to take blood and give pain medicine. Nothing. She walked out. I will not recommend this hospital to anyone. Yes she is going to file a complaint.
Dont go there. They dont listen. And dont do there jobs completely. Always in a rush to barely do there job. Your lucky to see an actual doctor in the er. The o ly staff that seem to be around is financial, to get your money are the pcas who work there butts off. within the last 6 months my neighbor died there from lack of full tests being done. And a friend sat in the er for 6 hours. suppose to have a cat scan. they never came to do it. two weeks later at the specialist she learned she has cancer. your better off traveling ... read more
