Filet was fantastic. Yes, the onion rings are that good. Robbie was an excellent waiter & a pleasure to deal with. Perfect amount of attention. Cozy & enjoyable evening.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Winter Special tonight. Our server Jason was awesome, suggesting some “out da box” things like putting the fried onion rings on our wedge salad—who knew that this was a thing? As always, a great dining experience and I have delicious leftovers for dinner tomorrow night!
I’ve been there twice and would highly recommend this authentic, historical, New Orleans steak cuisine. ❤️🍽🥩

Didn’t make a reservation but waited two hours because we have been enjoying Charlie’s for at least 30 years. We knew it was worth the wait. Well I ordered my filet Medium Rare and it was Rare and cold so I sent it back only to have it returned to me the same way. My mom ordered hers Well Done and hers came out rare, she sent hers back and it was returned to her the same way. The salad and dressing are no where near what they used to be, much smaller and dressing is different. This was my last trip to Charlie’s Steakhouse ☹️
