I drove 40+ minutes to come get fried mushrooms, with me being picky I didn't know if I would like them. I get to Charlies, Tessa greeted me and Shane took his time to come out and speak to us. Absolutely amazing service, hands down best service I've had anywhere! Not to mention the mushrooms we're way better than I expected! Will definitely make this a weekly spot! *sorry about my mostly eaten picture.
My daughter and son won a free dinner for this dive today. Upon arrival they informed their server they were the winners of a free dinner. She very impolitly sighed and rolled her eyes and said she was new and didn't know how to take an order for that. The shrimp cocktail pieces were half frozen. the porkchops were over done and flavorless. The mashed potatoes tasted bitter, and inedible. The food is great and so is the service. I've always enjoyed going to Charlie's. I highly recommend checking it out.
