Never had a bad meal until yesterday. Had the senior chicken fried steak and it was hard as a rock and dry like microwaved too long. They took it back and we had the hot beef sandwich which was delicious as usual. But beware the microwaved chicken fried frozen steak hunk To be fair there was No charge for the returned meal.
We come often but today I tried the hot beef for the first time and it was amazing! The roast beef is the most tender I've ever had! And Charlie's now serves paper straws! How awesome is that!?? Thank you for caring about the environment.
Charlies is thee best place ever!! Service and food is really amazingly good!! I never used to be a fan of omelettes... but the Main Street omelette has me gasping for more. So delicious 😜😜
I visited this place for breakfast while visiting some family this last weekend. The coffe was hot, the service was friendly, and the food was amazing!! I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and was not disappointed!! Coming from Texas I have high standards and this beat out some of the favorites I have down here!!!!! The meat was well seasoned, the breading was crunchy and not too thick, and the gravy was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The past couple of days, it has been a pleasant experience and the hospitality has a homily feel. Tiffany is a great host and made feel welcomed, thank you! The food is delicious and the homemade pies are a must have when visiting. Thank you, Jesse LaSalde
