Charlie is old school. Very knowledgeable and skilled. We use him annually for a cleaning and for any other problems that arise.
Charlie committed to helping a tenant with their heater not working in their room and then an hour before he was supposed to show up he rudely called the tenant saying "I'm not interested in working on your heater." He also mentioned to me he's looking to retire soon and he's not interested in taking on new business. I would stay far far away from Charlie if you want any work done.
Charlie's heating service has always done great work for me. Cleanings and repairs on my furnace and boiler, he really knows what he's doing.
Charlie was extremely responsive and got my boiler up and running in no time. Not sure why he was given such a bad review. He was even willing to change his schedule to come to my house immediately. Great guy.
Very unprofessional. Kept me waiting for several hours after a scheduled appointment, and when I called him he told me he would be there in a little over an hour "unless someone else called him." Apparently my situation (with a bunch of burst pipes and no running water at all) was not a priority for him. I got the impression he had no intention of ever coming so I told him to forget it.
