I absolutely loved this place until the last 5 months. I call every single Sunday only to be told they “just ran out” of Sunday special. Wouldn’t you think with 2-3 hours left to be open you would know it’s something you need to have on hand?

Great food and service in an old historic diner
Great breakfast in Springfield, IL! Huge portions, reasonably priced and delicious. Horseshoe & pancakes are a must!

Food is great! Served fast and with a smile. The decor is great diner / music memorabilia. Off the main road, unpaved parking, crazy hut- hanger type building. Love it all!
Breakfast Horseshoe was Awesome, but the Stuffed Blueberry French Toast was Amazing... Service and Staff were polite, quick, and very friendly!!!
Had breakfast there today for the first time ever. The energy, friendliness of the owner and staff, and food were over-the-top. It was immediately evident why this is such a hot spot. People from over 93 different countries have visited this little spot in Springfield, Illinois. If you’ve never been there, do yourself a favor and make a point to do so. You won’t regret it. Huge portions. Excellent food. Great staff. Everything you want in a restaurant.
Great brunch. Recommend the breakfast shoe with the cheese sauce.
