It's an extremely excellent place to eat I love their roasted red pepper crab soup and the Thanksgiving feast was excellent I enjoy going there it's very nice and the waitresses are excellent I can't give them a higher enough praise

For all the staff that had to work on thanksgiving, they were all super friendly and cheerful. The food was very good, especially the roasted red pepper and crab soup. It was a nice buffet with all the traditional sides. This is the 3rd time I've eaten here though and the regular menu is good too.

Pros:I had the bacon burger with Brie and white cheddar was delious. Moist, fluffy and huge. Cons: Non-traditional Club Sandwich! Since when did a Club sandwich consist of two slices of thick bread, filling and cut into two pieces? I think that's called a Dagwood sandwich. A Club is 3 pieces of thin toasted bread, filling, and cut into 4 equal pieces. Also, the bathroom needs a thorough cleaning. Drove up from Suffolk for lunch. Beautiful new deck, great menu.
Most reviews are about the quality of the food, the service, the experience, etc. In all of these, I would give Charley's the highest rating. I want to rave about Charley's Waterfront Cafe for a different reason. I do not know of a business in town that's more community minded than Charley's. They are always donating their time, their food, their facilities, their money, and much more, to local non-profit organizations.
