Dr Jake is phenomenal! He is at the forefront of Veterinary Cardiology. He breaks things down in simple terms and visuals so you can understand what is happening with your pet. He is patient, kind and understanding. I moved to FL recently and could not get a cardio appointment anywhere for 5 months. My pet had seen Dr Jake here in the low country years ago and I gave him a call. He got us in the same week. He also was able to get us in with a dentist next day. This was the most friendly and calm visit we’ve had in a long time. Dr. Jake Jacobson was so kind and smart, he took the time to explain things thoroughly to me. Every staff member I encountered had a smiling face and seemed happy to be there. Not to mention, I didn’t sit there for hours. It was very quick, pleasant and calm. I would definitely recommend you look no further.

The office is very clean and organized. The staff is welcoming and very professional. Dr. Jacobson took his time explaining what he was going to do for the exam and then was very detailed with explaining the findings and course of treatment. We feel fortunate to have his resources available for our pup and would highly recommend Charleston Veterinary Cardiology to anyone in need of this service for their pet.
5 star experience from the minute you walk in the door till well after you leave. Everyone was so friendly on entry and even offered complementary coffee and snacks on arrival! Dr Jake was very personable and broke things down in an easy to understand manner. Helped get my senior beagle relief after many visits back and to our regular vet with no resolution. Personally called to check in on our dog and got an issue resolved. Would highly recommend!
