Overall Experience: Genuinely LOVED the townhouse/community, but was not expecting the horrible management. Matchbox Realty & Management Services neglects tenant needs, leaving us to handle repairs ourselves, and nearly all students I know lose some if not all of their security deposit. While there are great features—spacious rooms, privacy, and dual laundry—beware of the immense drawbacks of dealing with this landlord before signing. Do not apply here. Called multiple times for a refund of the $50 application fee. The place rented out immediately and we were never considered. 2 weeks and still trying to get a refund. Do not under any circumstances apply for housing here unless you want to throw away $50 each for both you and your child. Update: 35+ days since they collected the application fee, multiple attempts to contact them (phone, email, website) and no response. This company will simply collect the application fee from both you and your child. Ther... read more
